This group is for people who stayed at the late great Fence Lake Lodge in Lac du Flambeau Wisconsin, and want to relive the location through stories and pictures.
When I was a kid, pretty much every summer my family would load up the car, leave the suburbs of Chicago behind, and for a week we'd stay in one of the most beautiful places of all, the north woods of Wisconsin.
Fence Lake Lodge was an amazing place to stay. Over the years, I've looked back fondly at my vacations there. I've decided try to help keep those memories alive by starting a group for people like me. If you've got photos of the new or original Fence Lake Lodge main building, cabins, grounds, people, whatever, and are willing to share them, we'd love to see them. If you've got stories about the lodge, we'd love to hear them. I know the resort is gone, but this will help keep the memories alive!
