![]() She is essentially done, only needs her tail put in and stirrups and reigns. We are really happy with how she came out. Tom did a very good job! |
![]() Sally's new jewelry: She now has stirrups (original carousel metal stirrups) and bridal bit and reigns. The reigns were originally real horse reigns that Tom modified for Sally (same with stirrup leathers). We are really happy with how she came out. She also has a new horse hair tail (hard to see in the photo). |

The color in these photos doesn't accurately portray her colors (unfortunately they are a little blown-out and light). She is however very bright and festive, what we consider "carnival" colors. Some people choose to antique their horses and some choose more muted colors to reflect an original paint scheme. We wanted her to have bright, happy colors, like a toy, like the fun carnival atmosphere she traveled so many years (probably 80+). We felt that with all of the happiness she gave over the years it would only be appropriate to 'dress her' in happy colors. Now she happily resides in our living room where we happily spend our off time with her. |
