REARIN' TO GO
Ho for the Maytime, the wonderful
playtime,
When out in the open, we'll sail.
Lakes of our dream-land, The forest and stream-land,
Way up on "The Moccasin Trail."
Up in the play-land, the "I want
to stay" - land,
Where boating and fishing is fine,
Home of the Musky, the big, fighting husky,
We're longing to drop him a line.
Hiking and canoeing, Outdoor sport
pursuing,
"Time" why do you drag, like a snail?
Hasten the fly-time, the hop in, good-bye, time,
We want to be hitting the trail.
E. F. Hayward circa 1926
