Seam separation filled. Our concern here was that if we actually tried to take the side of the horse off, it may actually crack. It is very thin.

More neck repair.

Under the saddle, almost the entire top, was full of (old) fill and broken pieces. These we chose to fill to even out as well. This would have been needed to be replaced in it's entirety as well if we wanted to eliminate the need for fill.

Old putty fill where the head was originally nailed together got replaced also.

Another view of head repair.

Bruin checks progress after his 3-hour nap.

Cantel carving is clened out and sharpened up.

The beginning of the end!
