Top is a laminated board from which new ears will be carved. Bottom is roughed out top teeth.

These nicely carved new teeth should be just fine!

Another view of Sally's new teeth! Boy, she sure does love to smile now!

New lip, teeth and trial fitted ears.

New ears sound good to Sally.

I heard that!

Ears are locked in place with PC Wood Epoxy.

The lower neck was partially rotted and recessed. We decided to use wood hardener on the rotted pieces and, without taking her completely apart, wood epoxy fill also. It looks much worse (tons more fill) than there will ultimately be. Lots of it gets sanded away as you will see on following pictures. We decided to do this rather than carve/replace part of the neck on this horse because, once again, we were trying to keep as much originality to this horse as possible. Consequently, we tried to save even a rotten part like this. We plan to keep this horse, she means alot to us. However, if someone else ever owned her and wanted to replace the fill and bad part of the neck, they still could.
